USGA seeks local help for upcoming U.S. Open Championship at Shinnecock Hills Golf Club
The U.S. Open Golf Championship takes place in June.
The USGA has posted a registration for its Open Works Program ahead of the 2026 U.S. Open Championship at Shinnecock Hills Golf Club on June 15-21.
According to a post on the USGA site, the event will offer employment opportunities designed to support inclusion and give Town of Southampton-area residents priority for labor and business needs.

Part of a statement on the Open Works Program reads:
Small-, women-, minority-, LGBTQIA, disabled, and veteran/service-disabled businesses and individuals are encouraged to click the below link to learn about current opportunities the USGA and its national contractors and suppliers are seeking support for in the planning and execution of the championship.
