The new headquarters marks a major expansion for the company and its approximately 230 employees. Mason's goal is to add an additional 25 full-time positions in the future after the project is completed.

Founder and President Jennifer Mason says the facility will be unique in its innovation and features.

"Our new headquarters will showcase next-generation technology that is both simple to use and visually astonishing," Jennifer said at the event. "There will be no space like this in the country."

Jennifer's husband and company VP of partner relations, Adam, says he and his wife wanted to keep the company in Suffolk but thought they were going to have to move.

"We never wanted to leave but we thought we were going to be forced to."

However, Adam says multiple agencies pulled together to help keep the business on Long Island.

"Everybody locally, all the local politicians, everybody worked to keep us here, and we're so proud that we're able to do that."

Romaine says companies that decide to establish themselves in Suffolk have a variety of tools at their disposal to assist.

"We have an industrial development agency will forgive hefty sales tax, will forgive your mortgage tax, half of the mortgage tax," said Romaine. "We will provide financial incentives. And we will make sure that your business, should you choose to locate, will be successful and will be grown."

For Jennifer Mason, the groundbreaking was an opportunity to reflect on what she has managed to grow and cultivate at the helm of the Suffolk and nationally certified Women's Business Enterprise.

"For a long time there was just me. We had one employee that grew to three, to nine, to 12, to 20, and little by little we grew," said Jennifer reflecting on her journey.

"It didn't come with a manual. We're still learning. We call it the 'Mason Way' to do the best way possible for everybody involved and we're very proud to be here."
